Poke the Guy slot game is a bit of a puzzle. It doesn’t look like an online video slot. And it doesn’t play like an online video slot – at least on the face of things. It looks like a way-back version of a mobile game.

The main character is the Guy of the title. He is very odd looking indeed, with a goofy face and some sort of all-in-one body suit on. He has one job. To pop up and shoot around the screen.

You, in your turn, have your own job, which is to fire missiles at him and hit him. Your choice of a missile is shot out of something that looks like an electric cattle prod, which fires ice cream, rubber ducks, knives and the like at the weird man.

The choice of weapon is made by changing your bet, though – like most of this game – there’s no logic to this. Then the shots are fired at random. If you get impatient with even this minimal sequence then you can use a Fast Forward button to go at a quick step through the motions.

Crazy like a fox

There are no special features or bonuses on this game. Wins come with a random multiplier of 2x, 4x, 8x, 12x, 18x, or 500x stake.

Poke the Guy slot game is an oddity. Our best bet is that is aimed at 4Channers or the like, with its odd surreal graphics and gameplay. It’s closer to an instant win scratch card than a slot and while it offers some of the looks of a video game it is missing the one thing that makes a video game compelling – interactive control!
