Considering the fact that InterCasino has been doing business online since all the way back in 1996, it is amazing to think that this is still going and still doing well. In terms of online casinos, this platform is an absolute dinosaur, but it still has the energy of a young pup.
It wouldn’t be InterCasino’s style to be left in the dark ages. It has moved with the times and nowadays, it provides players with a healthy number of games on a sleekly designed website with quality customer service and great safety features.
Of course, like most online casinos, this one isn’t perfect. Allow us to walk you through all the things we liked and some of the things we didn’t really enjoy on InterCasino.
Pros & Cons
There are around 800 games to choose from in total, which is a pretty good amount, to be fair to InterCasino. Out of that, around 500 are slots. Its roulette offerings are there, although they are not plentiful and if you like scratch cards, or arcade style instant win games, then you better move along because there is none. However, the live table game variety is of a high standard.
The payout rates are quite impressive in every area within the website and that is certainly worth noting… after all, you are here to win money.
The security features are fairly decent on InterCasino as well. This is important because nobody wants to be playing on a site that feels fragile.
The casino got a complete redesign in 2015, so it really looks the part at the moment too. There are a live chat and email support, but unfortunately, users have no telephone option to use if somethings wrong.
Games & Software
There is a good variety of slots and table games here. However, as previously stated, it doesn’t have much in the way of instant win games.
Amaya provided the overall software that powers the site and they have done a great job. It’s easy to navigate and definitely looks the part.
Game Developers used by the site include; CryptoLogic, Aristocrat, Bally, SHFL, IGT, Spin Games, Leander, Quickspin, Genesis, Nektan, Core Gaming, Leander Games, HO Gaming, NextGen, Novomatic and Betsoft. That’s a good list by anybody’s standard.
There is a nice instant play mode too, where you can enjoy the game easily in the browser without the need to download anything. That’s a nice touch and one we took advantage of while doing this review.
Overall, this is a casino that sticks in its lane, which is great if it has what you are looking for, but if it doesn’t, then you will have to go elsewhere.
Is InterCasino safe?
In a word, the answer is ‘yes’. InterCasino has put a huge amount of work into the security of its website, from gaining all the necessary licenses to working with security partners to ensure data is safe.
It also has the games that are played on the website audited, as well as every other element of the platform. Its reputation is one of an online casino that has been working towards complete safety and that is a reputation that is still upheld today. Looking through the site, it’s clear to see that they take security very seriously.
The banking options are alright, with the likes of the main cards, Maestro, bank transfer, e-wallets, such as Skrill and Neteller, all available. Paypal doesn’t make an appearance and the mobile banking is slightly different.
If you are playing on the go, you cannot deposit using Maestro or bank transfer. This is a real shame and is going to be a guaranteed turn off for many players. It should be noted that the banking does run smoothly when in use and it does appear to be very safe.
Considering InterCasino has been around since the very beginning of the online casino revolution, it would be fair to think that they wouldn’t bother with non-traditional types of online casino platforms. However, that is just not the case. Their mobile offering is actually (and we were surprised by this too) quite good.
They have an excellent mobile website, where a large portion of their games are available on and there is also an excellent app. This allows you to play 100s of the games that they also have on the desktop version and it also has a decent banking system on there too.
They’ve definitely put some work into staying the pace with the younger casinos in this regard and it is paying off for them too. This was a definite highlight of the review.
The 24/7 customer service chat that is available on the website is surprisingly good. They are pretty instant with all their replies and they are friendly and helpful too, which is always nice. There is also an email service, for those of you who want to receive the responses into your mailbox.
However, there is no phone option, which is a drawback. These days, phone options are becoming more and more rare, which is a pity, because it is nice to solve a query with a friendly voice speaking back over the line.
Overall, InterCasino is doing plenty right and doing well to keep up with their more youthful equivalents. However, there are also several areas of improvement that should be looked upon.
It has a loyal customer base and sometimes that sort of loyalty can lead to complacently. Thankfully, InterCasino doesn’t fall into that bracket, but it will have to keep on working to make sure it never does.
It was one of the first online casinos. There’s no reason it can’t embrace innovation and become the ‘first’ in many other areas of online gaming in the future. A B- grade from us here, as it’s a good casino, that can definitely become a great one.
