Blood Suckers Slot Overview
Ah, vampires. The bread and butter of any horror story alongside werewolves, until the zombie craze ran them out of business as the most famous undead abomination. But that doesn’t mean we don’t occasionally still see them skulking about in their long capes and sharp fangs. NetEnt’s Blood Suckers slot is a 5 reel, 25 payline video slot machine that focuses on nothing but said vampires, and all the ways they can be taken down. Bring with you all the onions, crossbows, bibles and potions, because you’re facing off against the most infamous blood-sucking beasts that history has known. But should you brave these dark, oppressive halls, a great wealth awaits you on the other side.
More Vampires, More Profit
Blood Suckers slot is one of NetEnt’s older releases, and it shows, despite the slight graphical lift up they’ve given it after so many years. The animation work is fantastic, as is the user interface that so clearly shows off to players what they’re supposed to be doing. Still, there’s a bit of an outdated look to the reels themselves, despite the fact the symbols have received a lot of care to look much better than before. We quite like the icons, as all of them feature unique artwork related to either famous vampires, or to things that can be used to kill said vampires.
The slot is playable for $0.25 up to $50 by adjusting your coin value and bet level. You could have played it for even less back in the day thanks to flexible paylines, but that seems to have disappeared sometime between release and today, most likely at the same time NetEnt touched up the visuals somewhat. But if there’s one game you wouldn’t want to turn off paytables, it’s this one. After all, Bloodsuckers is a title that draws attention the moment anyone hears it. Gamblers have been using its ridiculously high RTP to score some big wins with casino bonuses, leaving people with a very fond memory of this slot.
A Toe Curling Scream
The stars of the show are the special features on offer. The bonus game has you opening coffins and ascending the levels, killing vampires that pop out of them for money, and it ends if you open a coffin full of bats. Another important one to keep an eye on is the Scatter activated free spins, which triple your winnings while it is active, and awards a little bit of a cash prize itself. There are also Wilds to keep an eye out on, as they present the highest win in the slot, while also being able to replace most other icons, which helps salvage a lot of dead spins that might happen.
Overall though, Blood Suckers slot is a good thing to play. It certainly won’t win any prizes for looks, but the graphics are quite passable today, and the high RTP is a welcome addition. All the bonuses also offer a way to walk away with a lot of cash, although the one in which you hunt vampires seems consistently less profitable to the other two. It has some problems, such as the paytable being really low at places, but that just lets you bounce back easier.
