How do you feel about movie tie-ins? How about movie tie-ins based on movies based on board games – because that seems like something of a perfect set-up for the novelty-hungry world of online video slots. With that in mind, it would seem that Jumanji is just perfect for slots designers, so it seems almost weird that it’s taken from the original film’s 1995 release to 2018 for NetEnt to come up with this tie-in Jumanji slot title.
The reason is probably pretty simple. Earlier in 2018 a remake/sequel of the much-loved family film hit our screens and download markets.
Sadly, of course, we’ve not long ago lost Robin Williams, the genius star of the first film, but make no mistake this is based on the original film, not the remake. It’s the first of an ongoing deal with Sony Pictures that games fans will keep an eye on no doubt.
Entertainment aside, this game is a 5-reel set-up with a display based around the board game of the film’s title.
